The Royz
Band combines the talents of three exciting & dynamic multi-instrumental musicians who
can perform as either: This Toronto based live band has amassed a huge repertoire, a
reputation for dedicated musicianship, and has been featured on CityTV, Much
Music, The New Music, CHUM Radio, Radio Canada, CBC TV, Rogers Television and
publications such as NOW Magazine, The Toronto Star, The Montreal Gazette,
and others. The band can MC fluently in English, French and Italian.
DJ Bongogirl has a huge catalogue of music that she will
mix live, on-stage, with the same high energy, fun and approachable style she uses while
performing.

as well as the well known song "Stop in the Name of Love".
DISCO (1970's)
Gold and Silver Metallic, Platform boots and The Hustle. This set will have guest
grooving. Dancers bring guests up on the dance floor for a "Soul Train".
Th 80's - Tribute to Michael
Jackson
The King of Pop! This set pays tribute to our favourite Michael Jackson Songs!
Smooth Criminal, Thriller, and Billy Jean are part of this 80's medley!
Joining the dancers will be Lynzie Kent.
Based in Toronto, Lynzie Kent is an accomplished young singer/songwriter working her way
towards the top. Because of her unique pop/rock vocals and her acoustic covers of pop
songs, Lynzie has racked up over 8 million views on youtube and one of her videos was
twittered by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. She is the former lead singer of
Juno-nominated God Made Me Funky, a top three finalist in 2009s Toronto song
contest, and a YWCA Young Woman of Distinction Nominee (2009 and 2010) for being a role
model in the Arts industry. Lynzie released her own original album Find the
Words in 2008 and is currently writing/recording her second album. She has appeared
on Etalk, Entertainment Tonight Canada, Breakfast Television, Canada AM, and Buddies on
the Vine. Lynzie is also a graduate of Randolph Academys Musical Theatre College
Program and is trained in voice, dance and acting. |
